Welcome To Mississippi. . .

Klan marches are sooooo 1950's.

On Saturday, a dozen or so KKK members held a peaceful rally outside of the Pearl River County Courthouse in Poplarville, Mississippi.

The Clarion Ledger reports:

The group was intent on conveying its views on illegal immigration, increasing awareness about sex offenders and promoting prayer in school. The Klansmen made no formal remarks to the crowd, but passed out handbills, some that included photos of local registered sex offenders.

“To me it is like something out of a storybook,” said Poplarville resident Amy Rush, as she photographed the Klansmen in their brightly colored robes. “It is a bunch of grown men in hoods out getting attention. If they’d put on suits and go address the Legislature they would probably have a whole lot more positive impact.”

Thanks for the public service, you jackasses.

Well, at least nobody got hurt.
