rush
. . .of the musical variety. 9:51 of rock spanning then, about 7 years of musical creation. Pure, loud, unique and spot on. Note the first 4 minutes of the 4-tune medley. . .awesome! Hard to believe that some of those songs are now over 30 years old. I'm gettin' old! And loving every minute of it!
In case you haven't noticed, I'm a Rush fan. Just throwing that out there. Ya know, in case you missed it.
Toast, I have been listening to Rush for close to thirty years and as time goes by I have become a bigger fan. I was listening to Limelight the other day and realized it was a big hit the Summer my wife and I met. I don't even know the names to many of their songs but I do enjoy the lyrics. Fly By Night is one song where they absolutley rip. The older I get the more I appreciate Rush. I have a concert of them somewhere where the are in Rio I think. I gotta dig it up sometime and listen and watch. That is as soon as I get a home once more.
I live like a Gypsy these days going from my Daughter's apt to my buddy Kevin's place. Some nights it's a Motel and a bottle of Schnapps to keep away the chill. It's a lame-ass way for a fifty-five year old shit to end up. Yeah, I turned fifty-five one week ago.
One more thing Brett, I think it may be on again this coming Spring with the Lakers and Boston. Both teams are off to great starts and the Lakers look vastly improved. Oh well, I guess I will talk to you later.
Greasy, good to have you around and don't worry fella, you'll get back on your feet. I've got faith in you. At least you have friends and family you can rely on.
You know I've been a RUSH fan since I was a kid and they never cease to amaze me. Even songs I've listened to thousands of times I still find delightful little nuances to inspire me. God bless 'em.
If I could go back in time 1976 Toronto would be my first stop.
Take care buddy.
