Peas 'n Cornbread

I made the first batch of purple hull peas a couple of weeks ago and let me tell you, there is nothing grander than a bowl of peas over some spicy and cheesy cornbread. It's like being transported to an island paradise of warm sun with rivers of gold except you don't get sand in your pants and really you are just eating peas and cornbread. But it's that good!

Simple pleasures for a simple man.
