Juevos Redneck
Yeah. Some people just can't be helped.
Today's breakfast highlights my chef training of use what you have when you have it, my creativity, a little classical French cookery, a pinch of good ol' fashioned redneckery thrown in for good measure and a sharp measure of laziness.
French eggs disguised as pseudo-rancheros (a little squirt of taco sauce), last night's mashed potatoes, some toast with blackberry jelly, and cocktail smokies sauteed in Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. It's a meal fit for a country boy!
And yes, there is a rooster on that plate. Don't laugh, it's an ancient family heirloom.
