Belzoni, Mississippi

I drove through Belzoni today which is the Catfish Capital of the World as proudly displayed on the sign leading into town.

But it was another sign, a hand-painted one, lazily spray-painted in bleeding letters actually, and haphazardly propped against the rusting hulk of an ancient farm implement that proudly advertised the following. . .

We clean deers

Oh really?

Well, what about mooses, geeses, and mices? Or shrimps? Or even black-feeted minks?

Seems so narrow-minded to focus only on one things!
