"Americans used to say where there's a will, there's a way. Nowadays, it's where there's a pill, there's a way out." - - Burnt Toast

Wheels on the camel go round and round

Well, that didn't take long.

Looks like the Algerian super troops are sporting another raid.  And buried in the depths of this Al Jazeera article lies a crumb of truth about our non-involvement:

Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan, reporting from Washington, said the US has been very cautious to avoid any sign of "US involvement in terms of rescue operations".

Our correspondent said both the White House and the department of state have shown "a real concern about the safety and well-being" of all hostages.

Washington has also been careful to not be seen as sending in troops and giving the "impression of invading another Muslim-majority nation", said Al Jazeera's Jordan.

And as my dad used to say in disgust, "Awwww, goddamn!"

Just whose side are we on in this fight, Mr. Obama?  Has it ever occurred to anyone that the reason we have to "invade" Muslim-majority countries is because these 7th century barbarians living there can't get with the modern world program?

Hijacking, hostages-taking, clitoris-chopping, head-sawing, bombing, bombing of churches, bombing of mosques, bombing of girl's schools, bombing of bars, dog bombs, ass bombs, underwear bombs, gang-rapes, homosexual executions, "honor" killings, acid-tossing, etc, etc, etc.  This shit ain't happening in Whiskey Dick Mountain, Washington, and if it were, we'd be THERE too!

I'm not sure who to be more afraid of.  These maniacal, violent, misguided religious warriors or our very own goddamned government.  Whose side are we on, Mr. Barack Hussein Obama?

Oh, I wonder.

And don't forget, Islam is a religion of peace.....in case you forgot.
