Wish Wash






Rain like today's reminds me of the rainy season in Costa Rica.  Basically there were two seasons where I lived: hot and dry where everything was burnt and the livestock looked like walking animal skeletons or not-so-hot and wet where the foliage turned green and immense swarms of colorful land crabs would scramble to the ocean to mate. 

The rains would begin about April or May and increase in intensity until it's peak in October when it would rain on end for days.  I remember not seeing the sun for over 14 days one year and the picture below was a common sight.
