"Americans used to say where there's a will, there's a way. Nowadays, it's where there's a pill, there's a way out." - - Burnt Toast

NPR Presidential Debate. . .

I was listening to the Democratic presidential debate on National Public Radio yesterday and I couldn't help thinking to myself, "What's that f'n smell?"

Anyway a simple question was asked about immigration:

"Would you expect Americans, if you’re president, January 2009, immigration reform, whatever you want hasn’t happened yet, would you expect Americans to turn in illegal immigrants when they come across?"
And every answer in the book was thrown out there, including a incredible froth of non-answers, when in all reality, the answer is very simple in my mind:

The government nor myself should advocate such vigilanteism, yet if a citizen feels compelled to do so, then it is their decision and they must live with it. The government cannot do anything to stop them.

You can read their answers about immigration here.

And then a discussion on China, which I will not delve into other than to say if the people of the United States are worried about products coming from China and how they do not meet the quality standards as set forth by our laws, well another simple answer:

"STOP BUYING PRODUCTS MADE IN CHINA!!!!"

What's so bloody difficult about understanding that or implementing it into your lifestyle?

Sure the products are cheap, but face it folks, do we really need most of the "crap" that we buy? How many freaking toys does your child need? 10? 10,000? Get off the consumption bandwagon people, it only takes one step.

And as far as the crying game which is, it's all Bush's fault for not funding the Consumer Products Safety Commission, well boo freaking hoo. Sure, let's throw some more money into the black hole that is our government.

Billy Dee Williams once said, "Works every time!"

Well, your wrong Billy and Colt .45 is nasty.
