A Fine Example. . .

. . .of misdirected Liberal ideology.  Let's starve the people to save the fish.

The above article ties in nicely with one penned by Dr. Victor Davis Hanson that Captain Thruston from The Big Feed highlighted last week about the de-evolution of California into two separate and dichotomous states.  Frightening.

Obama, You Got Some 'Splainin To Do!!!!!

From a chain email courtesy of Nils:

Dear President Obama:

I'm planning to move my family and my extended family to Mexico, and I am asking you to assist us.

We will simply walk across the border from the U.S. Into Mexico; we'll need your help to make a few arrangements.

We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws.

I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Calderon, that we are on the way over?

Please let him know we expect the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.

2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.

3. All Mexican Government forms must be printed in English.

4. I want my grandkids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.

5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and history.

6. I want my grandkids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school.

7. Please plan to feed my grandkids at school for both breakfast and lunch.

8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.

9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico, but I won't purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.

10. In the event one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer.

11. I plan to fly the U.S. Flag from my housetop, put U S. Flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.

12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.

13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.

14. I want to receive free food stamps.

15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies.

16. I'll need income tax credits so that although I don't pay Mexican taxes, I'll receive money from the government.

17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Government pays US$4,500.00 to help me buy a new car.

18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I'll get a monthly income in retirement.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all his people who walk over to the U.S. From Mexico. I am sure that President Calderon won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

Thank you so much for your kind help.

You're the man!!!

Alright Then. . .

That's enough of that happy-go-lucky crap!

Click through to Gateway Pundit to see Nancy Pelosi pandering, as no one else could, effortlessly and without shame to a church dominated by Latinos.

She claims that it's "un-American" for law enforcement to kick in doors and drag ILLEGAL immigrants away. Ya know according to them, breaking up families is bad and all, no matter whether said family is violating a variety of immigration and work-related laws.

Laws?? Laws are for dumb, stupid, broke and unmotivated Americans. You illegals are "very, very patriotic" so don't go worrying bout no laws. Laws are not for you. And apparently for Pelosi either. Or any other random Democrat. I mean, paying taxes is voluntary after all.

Pelosi's act is simply shameful, sickening and in my narrow-minded view, high treason. She and others like her are enemies of our fair nation. They are far too comfortable at the top of the political dogpile and it's about time we sent some new dogs to Washington. Or maybe a cat or two.

I hope you had your breakfast already.

HP Stands For. . .

Happening Poorly.

William Hewlett and David Packard are probably rolling over in their graves.

I am half way to becoming a computer scientist as I eke a little life back into this square box of silicon and copper. A rather rough go of it, but hey, life is about learning and if you're not willing to learn, then you will end up like this person.

I called HP to request a new copy of the recovery CD that goes with this laptop. I've used another copy of Windows to be able to use my computer, but it loaded generic drivers for most of the devices and even though I've replaced those with the proper upgrade, the computer is still not operating at full speed.

I got email notice shortly after my request for a new CD, of which I had to pay for the shipping and handling, and realized the CD was being shipped to, of all places, Hattiesburg! To my sister!!! What the hell? I had just given "Mary Jane" the proper address over the phone and they still shipped it to an address I used when I was overseas.

Not only that, but I had given them the address twice before and not only that, last year they shipped me a box to put my laptop in for repairs that I shipped to them and then they shipped back to me!! To this address!! OMG!! WTF!!

*sigh*

I find myself sitting here, staring at the phone, awaiting with glee the confrontation that is to come. I paid to have overnight shipping and it is now day three. Can't wait to talk to this "Mary Jane" again.

So, as we wait together, let's enjoy a video courtesy of Nauti Girl! She poses the question: how many illegals can you fit in one van?

Finally. . .

the courts get smart.

From the Clarion Ledger:

Ramon Lagos Andrade came to this country from Honduras for the American dream.

Now, that dream has gone bad: Andrade, 34, is going to federal prison because he came here on the wrong side of the law.

"We ask the court for leniency," Andrade's attorney, Joe Holloman, told U.S. District Judge Henry Wingate on Monday. "He made a terrible mistake. He was in this country illegally."

Wingate showed no leniency. He more than doubled the 13-month sentence U.S. Attorney Erin Chalk recommended Andrade receive for being here illegally while also in possession of a firearm.

Terrible mistake. Boo hoo.

Chalk one up for justice.

The Nuevo America. . .

Here is Absolut's new ad campaign designed to stoke the the old homefires in ol' Mexico.

Original source: here and thanks to Michelle Malkin too.

Well, hhmmm. Let me breathe deeply for a moment as not to lose my temper only to veer off course into a verbal diatribe so vulgar that even long dead sailors would cringe.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

Ok. So this whole reconquista thing? Bring it on Mexico! We'll be glad to beat your asses once again. And I don't mean it's people, I mean it's corrupt, elitist government that has NEVER served the interests of the Mexican population. Isn't the illegal immigration into the United States due to the quite so simple fact that if the Mexican government WORKED PROPERLY, there would be no need for her people to risk life and limb to get into the United States?

Haven't they failed in their role to provide a safe and prosperous society?

Why are we Americans branded as racists when we react to events like thousands of illegal immigrants marching in the streets of LA with upside down American flags demanding rights that they damn surely are not privileged to have? We are a nation of laws.

Let me tell you a story. . .

I can sympathize with people that want to live and work here. I worked as an "undocumented worker" in a foreign country for years. Yes. I BROKE THE LAW at the risk of going to jail and being deported. And I do not apologize for it. I risked it. And why? Well, I was looking for a better life somewhere else too.

I ran out the back door of a restaurant where I worked more than once as the immigration police descended on our little town from time to time with buses that had bars on the windows. We would watch from the safety of the bar down the street as they carted off people that we knew. We watched as people cried and screamed from the buses asking friends to retrieve papers or to call a family member for them. Some I never saw again.

Once it was over, we would be shook up for a while, we "undocumented workers." Obviously, these events would be the hot topic of discussion for the next few days always with a hard eye tuned on the main road coming into town watching for the next raid. But not once. . .never, nunca did we ever think or talk about protesting the government for OUR RIGHTS. We had no rights and we knew it. We were there working illegally. We knew it. They knew it. And THAT was THAT. I couldn't ever fathom marching on the capital with the country flag flying upside down chanting "queremos nuestros derechos!" We want our rights! Foolish. We would have been beaten to death by some very angry "locales". We knew we had no rights. There was no ACLU or La Raza to help us. We were breaking the law and were willing to pay whatever consequences there may have been. I expected no help from anyone. And if I got caught? I had three days to gather my things a leave the country voluntarily or risk prison time and then deportation. I never asked anything from that government.

Anyway, this is what pisses me off: Why is America responsible for these illegal immigrants? As I see it, the responsibility falls into the lap of the Mexican government. They've been screwing around, screwing each other and in the process, screwing themselves by not creating a vibrant and fully functional country. There is no reason other than failed leadership for the poverty and strife that is so rampant in Mexico. Canada is our neighbor too, but you don't see them scurrying across the border in the middle of the night. Why? Because their government WORKS.

You want to live in America? Why don't you try to make your own America in Mexico.

As for the Absolut ad? I find it offensive, ridiculous and unconstructive given the current plight of the Mexican people. This ad does nothing to generate a feeling of patriotism for Mexicans and Mexico, it only focuses the blame somewhere else and who better to bear the albatross of other's sins than the United States of America.

Dear Congress. . .

You, with the exception of a very select few, suck big, hairy and sweaty baboon balls. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi especially.

Sincerely,
A Disgruntled American Voter

Reading crap like THIS, where Harry Reid is opposing a moratorium on Congressional earmarks, aka big, greasy, gotcha-in-my-back-pocket pork barrel spending projects, just really burns me up.

I'm incendiary-like. On fi-ya!

And then, when my friends email me a video such as the one below. . .I get a slow burn right down at the base of my dum animal brain that leaves me with nothing but unadulterated rage and an itch to grow a prehensile tail so I can move back to Madagascar.

Who are these people running our country? Did we elect these dopes on ropes? Did we? Really? Does this mean that WE are stoopid too? Lord Almighty hep us all!

Kinda pisses ya right off, doesn't it?

Reid and Pelosi zipped around after the last election when the Democrats took over things in Congress like a couple of rabid fruit flies on a 10 day meth bender. We're gonna do this, we gonna change that, we gonna work longer, we're gonna. . .we're gonna. . .hey, we're in power, we ain't doin' shit!

Word on the street is they won't pass anything of importance until they get a more favorable person in the White House. Somehow this stinks like green cheese. Aren't we paying these motorheads to do stuff NOW? But instead, they feel comfortable enough to fart around like a bunch of slapdicks and do nothing?

What the hell have you people done in the last year and a half? Named a few fucking post offices? Well, holy shit! God only knows we need to waste more time and money doing that! Fuck!

How about we do something more to get our collective mouth off the oil titty of the Middle East? That sounds like a great idea, doesn't it? Remember the last oil crisis? Where did our petroleum dollars go? Right into the pockets of the people that hate us most!

We need to drill oil now. Here! We have plenty of it!

Yet, loonball, leftwing, flitterturds are entirely too worried about the seven-toed, one-eyed, blind, hooter frog to give a crap that all of our hard earned money goes right into the pockets of the people that want to see us DEAD! That's just great.

Hey, here's a good poll question for Americans: Who is more evil? Al Qaeda, who flew planes into buildings resulting in 3000+ deaths and the people that support them or Exxon Mobil. I shudder at the potential results.

Listen up world! When it all goes to hell in a hand-basket and some Allah-fearing, "conditioned" individual finally sets off some device that renders your metro area uninhabitable for a few thousand years, it will be us, the right wing of America, with our guns (lots of guns) and our ignorant ways who will protect you. And let me tell you, you won't be giving a shit about the variegated, fluttering, one-nosed, moose twit bird.

Maybe, just maybe, we'll take care of you. If we feel like it.

I am Burnt Toast and I approved this vulgarity-laced message.

NPR Presidential Debate. . .

I was listening to the Democratic presidential debate on National Public Radio yesterday and I couldn't help thinking to myself, "What's that f'n smell?"

Anyway a simple question was asked about immigration:

"Would you expect Americans, if you’re president, January 2009, immigration reform, whatever you want hasn’t happened yet, would you expect Americans to turn in illegal immigrants when they come across?"
And every answer in the book was thrown out there, including a incredible froth of non-answers, when in all reality, the answer is very simple in my mind:

The government nor myself should advocate such vigilanteism, yet if a citizen feels compelled to do so, then it is their decision and they must live with it. The government cannot do anything to stop them.

You can read their answers about immigration here.

And then a discussion on China, which I will not delve into other than to say if the people of the United States are worried about products coming from China and how they do not meet the quality standards as set forth by our laws, well another simple answer:

"STOP BUYING PRODUCTS MADE IN CHINA!!!!"

What's so bloody difficult about understanding that or implementing it into your lifestyle?

Sure the products are cheap, but face it folks, do we really need most of the "crap" that we buy? How many freaking toys does your child need? 10? 10,000? Get off the consumption bandwagon people, it only takes one step.

And as far as the crying game which is, it's all Bush's fault for not funding the Consumer Products Safety Commission, well boo freaking hoo. Sure, let's throw some more money into the black hole that is our government.

Billy Dee Williams once said, "Works every time!"

Well, your wrong Billy and Colt .45 is nasty.

¡Oye! Presidente Calderón. . .

¿Entiende que te dije antes?

From News 24:

Madrid - Spain's Interior Ministry will authorise police to dress undocumented immigrants in straitjackets and helmets during repatriation flights, the daily El Pais reported on Monday.

Police may resort to the measures when they deem it necessary to protect illegal immigrants from hurting themselves in attempts to prevent their expulsion.

Police may not drug immigrants or use disproportionate violence, according to new guidelines prepared by the ministry, which were described as being in line with Council of Europe norms.

Spain's Canary Islands have received more than 5 000 Africans this year, about 50% less than during the corresponding period in 2006.

The drop in numbers is attributed partly to increased repatriations. More than 8 000 migrants have been flown back to their home countries so far this year.

The new guidelines were prepared after a Nigerian immigrant died during a repatriation flight in June.

Osamuyia Aikpitanhi had been handcuffed and gagged. Police said he had violently resisted his expulsion.

Madrid - Authorities in Spain's north African enclave of Ceuta have detained 239 would-be immigrants trying to gain entry to the Spanish mainland by hiding in lorries and fairground attractions, the interior ministry said on Wednesday.

The lorries were used by Spanish fairground entertainers to carry merry-go-rounds to the territory during July 28-August 5 celebrations of local patron saints.

The migrants - 230 from Morocco and 15 of them minors - arrived in Ceuta pretending to visit the fairgrounds but sought to hide in the trucks before they returned to Algeciras in southern Spain by ferry.

Ceuta authorities had been on the lookout after a large number of migrants hid in the vehicles in previous years.

Santa Cruz - Rescuers searched for a second day on Friday off Spain's Canary Islands for about 50 African migrants who are missing and feared drowned after their boat capsized in heavy seas.

"We are continuing to search," a spokesperson for the Spanish sea rescue organisation Salvamento Maritimo told AFP.

Forty-eight people were plucked from the Mediterranean by two maritime rescue vessels on Thursday after their fishing boat capsized in 3m waves whipped up by strong winds, around 100 nautical miles southwest of Tenerife.

But hopes were fading for about 50 others whom survivors say were on the vessel when it overturned as it was being approached by one of the Spanish boats.

Where's your outrage? Como?

Dear President Calderon. . .

Have you ever considered fixing YOUR OWN broken and corrupt system instead of criticising ours?

Via Reuters:

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexican President Felipe Calderon accused the United States on Sunday of stepping up persecution and abuse of undocumented Mexican workers with a crackdown on illegal immigrants.

"I want to express again an energetic protest at the unilateral measures taken by the U.S. Congress and government which exacerbate the persecution and abusive treatment of undocumented Mexican workers," Calderon said in his state of the union speech.

Mexico was deeply disappointed at the U.S. Congress' failure to pass a comprehensive overhaul of immigration laws in June despite heavy lobbying by the Bush administration. It is also upset at the United States for building a security fence on parts of the border to keep illegal immigrants out.

"The Mexican government will continue to insist firmly ... on the need for an integral immigration reform and the categorical rejection of the building of a wall on our common border," Calderon said to raucous applause.

More "Undocumeted" Chaos. . .

From The Clarion Ledger:

A dozen or more mobile homes are scattered inside the mud-covered park on the north side of Pelahatchie Bay at Fannin Landing and Mattie Burnett circles, but no one was home Tuesday, a day after one man was fatally wounded and two others seriously injured in a shooting there.

Empty beer cans littered the ground, an unattended trash fire burned and dozens of emaciated dogs roamed. At mobile home No. 229, a bloody shirt laid crumpled in a ball at the foot of a plywood deck. First responders said it was the shirt of one of the victims. Paramedics had to cut it off to treat his wounds.

Investigators have arrested three people in connection with the shooting. Rankin County Undersheriff Bryan Bailey said Anthony Perez, 23, of Brandon, Corey Sims, 19, of Braxton and an unidentified juvenile have been charged with capital murder, kidnapping, aggravated assault and burglary. The trio is being held without bond.

Bailey said the identities of the victims have not been verified.
Authorities were called to the mobile home park near the Ross Barnett Reservoir about 9 p.m. and found two men suffering from head wounds - it was not clear what kind of injuries they were - and another man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The victims were rushed to local hospitals. During the night, one of the men died.

Rankin County Coroner Jimmy Roberts said he couldn't tell where in the body the deceased was shot. An autopsy was expected either Tuesday or today, he said.

Bailey said the cause of the melee is under investigation and would not comment on what transpired.

Reservoir Fire Chief Scott Berry was among the emergency responders Monday night.
"Let me tell you, it was a gruesome scene," he said. "It's always been a real quiet area, so I hope this is the end of the bad stuff, not the beginning."

Authorities initially took in for questioning 14 suspected illegal immigrants, some of whom may have been involved in the violence or witnessed it, Sheriff Ronnie Pennington said. He said the department is working to deport those who are in the country illegally. Because most of those involved are Hispanic and do not speak English, translators were called in, Pennington said.

At the neighborhood's entrance on Tuesday, Ingrid Schoenborn Mercer said she was tired of the ruckus every week at the park. "The police are always over there," the 48-year-old German immigrant said. "I don't want to have anything to do with them. I think I am going to start looking for a new place."

Bailey said deputies are not often called to the park to quell disturbances.

Attempts to locate the park's owner on Tuesday were unsuccessful. Berry said he has been to the trailer park twice in recent months fighting fires. But aside from those incidents, he said the area hasn't been a problem.

Last week deputies were dispatched to the mobile homes because of some disagreement. No injuries were reported, Berry said. He didn't know if the incident was related to the shooting.

Wall? We don't need no stinking wall.

This Is So NOT Funny. . .

And neither is this:

From the Sun Herald:

The owner of Tarrasco Steel, a company that supplied workers on the Biloxi Bay Bridge, was arrested and charged with hiring illegal immigrants on projects in three states. Some had improper welding certification.

In April, nine Tarrasco employees caught in the March 29 operations were charged with fraudulent use of immigration documents and Social Security account numbers. Investigators served a search warrant at the Tarrasco office in Greenville and they got copies of payroll records. They allege Gonzalez falsified information on the I-9 Employee Eligibility forms. Investigators learned that several workers had inappropriate welding certifications.

Let's say it all together now: "Inappropriate welding certifications".

Good Job Congress. . .

I guess no one is packing a set of brass nads in the Senate these days.

I just read some analysis over at Michelle Malkin/HotAir courtesy of Allahpundit, who closely analyzed the video of the actual vote this morning.

Seems that Senator Brownback voted Yes for cloture this morning, thinking it was going to pass, but in the waning moments of the vote realizing the bill had failed, changed his vote to NO.

He must be soliciting advice from John Kerry who is the ultimate "voted for it, before I voted against it" Senator.

I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to the great people of this nation whose common voice was heard by our government, for once.

And if you ever hear another politician say, "we know it's not a great bill, but it's the best we can do", take two steps back and drop-kick that sumbitch in the balls. . .cause if they have balls, they sure ain't of the brass variety.
