Here's Some Change You Can Believe In. . .

. . .$645,135.83 worth of it.

Seems that some locals folks got their hands on a military issued Voyager Fleet fuel card and used it over 10,000 times before someone, somehwere finally caught on. Oddly, even with the maximum fine imposed, the government would still lose $145,135.43 and then have to pay to house these idiots for 10 years. Seems like a lose-lose situation to me.

A simple question comes to mind. Does bigger government really sound like a good idea to you Obamatrons?

You know Toast, this is exactly the kind of shit I was referring to the other day when I posted here about four-hundred dollar government toilet seats and five-hundred dollar government hammers. Just who in the fuck is in charge of the asylum?

An ever greater crime is the fact these Bozos got away with this shit for so long without being caught. This is why I am so cynical and pessimistic about our government. Not just Obama and his idiot lackeys but ALL government. It's too fucking big.

It makes you think that maybe the South and the Confederacy had it right back in 1861, only for the wrong reasons. It should have been ALL about States Rights and not slavery. As an institution, Slavery would have died out on its own. It was too wasteful. But... big government just keeps getting bigger.

No wonder my youthful idealism has long ago dissappeared. At one time I was a bleeding heart liberal and Democrat. Now I trust no one in D.C. and this kind of waste is the very reason why.

It may sound cliche but if things don't change soon we may be facing some kind of Revolution in the beloved U.S. Paraphrasing what the Declaration Of Independence said, It is the duty of the People to throw out the bastards in charge when they stop working for the good of the citizens. Words that still ring true today.
