Another Nice Catch. . .

Here is another nice fish from the pond. It was caught using a top water plug similar to the Lucky 13 series from Heddon. This fish weighed a touch over six pounds on a very unreliable scale and the consensus was that it was probably heavier.


The man on the right is nicknamed "Bad Eye" because he is blind in one eye and strangely enough this does not prohibit him from operating a 32 meter Putzmeister concrete pump.

Not only is he half-blind, he is also clinically insane.

Arno's Fish. . .

Looks like the big bass are finally beginning to bite. All of the yearling bass and two year bass are quite active in the pond here, but the lunkers are slow to warm up.



This one weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces and is a Florida large mouth variety. Last year two 11+ pounders were caught, one by Arno and the other by this crazy one-eyed bastard whose whole family got arrested for fighting with another family from down the street.

Well, it is Mississippi after all.
