What Did I Do??

I think God was trying to kill me this afternoon. I drove through some of the worst lightning and rain I've seen in quite some time. I believe the storms were traveling in the same direction as I which meant that I was under constant barrage for miles! When I finally able to get off Highway 49 below McHenry and take Highway 67 south into the back door of Gulfport I found the leading edge of the storm. I tried to photograph the lightning while driving through blinding rain, which is plainly ignorant. But leave it to me to push the limits of stupidity.

I did manage to take this photo stopped at the Highway 67 exit. Nasty, nasty clouds.


I guess on the bright side we may have a slow day tomorrow.
