A Doe, A Deer. . .

Deer season is almost at an end here in Mississippi and in a state where deer outpopulate people, I can assure you that the deer will be relieved and grown men all over the state will be weeping into their beer.

I've never been much of a hunter. It is well known that I don't like to kill things, except for cockroaches, but I always preface that by saying, if you kill it, I'll cook it. I don't know, call me weird, I don't like the sight of honeycomb and sunflowers either.

Anyway, Cudi Bug's son, Jake, killed a nice looking deer back in December and thought you folks might like to take a look. Yes, there are images of dead animals and blood at the above link. All you PETA types can go here instead.

Age Is Overrated. . .

Just wanted to send out a big ol' Happy Birthday to my friend Cudi Bug over at Yazoo Delta Belle as she celebrated her "something or other" birthday this past weekend. I'm sure great fun was had by all, but how the hell would I know because I wasn't invited!!!

Damn you and your birthday woman!

I'm kidding of course. I was stuck here in the eternal night of the concrete placement known as Gulfport, Mississippi and they knew it.

Happy Birthday Cudi! I hope it was all you wished for and then some! Y'all stop by and wish her the best!
