The Fire Is Lit. . .

Well, Sarah Palin came out swinging and to use an old baseball analogy, she scratched her nuts, adjusted her cup, spit a big slug of tobacco juice and proceeded to knock the hell out of Barack Obama and the liberal, pinko-commie media.

And I'll be damned if those sunsabitches didn't have it coming.

I don't have much time to blog about it this morning. Maybe later. I'll only say that she did well, really well, has solidified the GOP base and has set off on a great journey for her, us and our country.

Maybe some of the more sarcastic and pointed jibes could have been left out of the speech, but those bastards on the left deserved and earned every bit of it after trying to rip apart her innocent family for a week. It was her turn for a little blood and the left this morning is crying in the corner like a spoiled child.

Man am I smiling.

That was just great last night. Rudy loaded the bases and Sarah hit it out for a grand slam.

You know what was really cool was they were having so much fun doing it. Rudy was having a blast and you could see it. Now the Dems will go into panic (Attack) mode.

Sarah has accomplished what I didn't think was gonna happen one month ago - unite the Republicans.

Rudy kicked some Democrap ass last night too - if those speeches didn't seal the deal for those "undecided" people I don't know what will - I really don't understand why there are "undecided" people - seems to me you vote for the man with the most experience and not one that can blow more smoke up your ass - i'm off the soap box for now.

I thought all of them spoke well. I was a little disappointed at the sharpness and cutting rancor of the jibes, but all is fair in love and politics I suppose.

I guess I was hoping they would take a higher road as they really have the cards in their favor after the idiocy of the left-wing "anarchists" and "protesters" in Denver and Minneapolis, the soft start of the convention during Hurricane Gustav and also the caustic rhetoric of Obama during his speech.

As successful as her speech was I feel something was lost.

Nevertheless, it was a fine moment in history, yet to be absorbed and realized for it's power, significance and meaning.
