10,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I finally made it. Almost two years in the making, I finally had my 10,000th visitor! I told you this Monday was gonna kick some ass!

Two years ago it all started with a sarcastic ode to food and Michelle Malkin's lips. At the time, I figured, man, I can do this blogging bidness. I'm funny, sarcastic, intelligent and people will want to listen to what I have to say. If Michelle Malkin, a well-educated journalist can snark at the world, well hell, so can I.

Boy, was I wrong.

What I've found out in two years is that blogging is much harder than I thought and I'm not nearly as funny as I thought I was. I'm actually a dull, narrow-minded, introverted douchebag who has no skill at analysis, writing or anything for that matter. I am a dirty, unwashed vagabond floating through the intertubersnet of life. Struggling to keep afloat in the filthy flotsam and jetsam of the blogosphere.

Yet, some of you come here. You read. Some go insane. Some comment. And some never come back. Is it me? Is it me? Yes, it's me, but I'm just one side of a very complex coin. Polluted, grumpy, ill-mannered. But through all that, I am certainly one thing, if anything. . .and that is grateful.

Grateful for y'all, every one of you, the ones who remain and patronize. It's not all about me, it's about all of us and this is for you. Our gentle, singular and minuscule contribution to the whole. The whole of life.

Congratulations you, all of you. This is yours as much as it is mine. Thank you.

Some more interesting data is beginning to appear about our beloved leader and if your own personal "concern-o-meter" isn't just flipping off the charts then you are clinically dead.

Michelle Malkin and Ace of SpadesHQ are both reporting on an article that appeared in the Columbus Dispatch about illegal accessing of a private data about Joe Wurzelbacher stored in the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles computer database.

Information accessed through accounts assigned to the offices of the Ohio Attorney General, the Toledo Police Department and the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency.

Hhhmmm.

You know, I like Barack Obama. He seems like a nice guy and I sure we'd have a fine time enjoying a bottle of chardonnay contrasted by the crisp and bitter quailites of an organic arugula salad during dinner. But I don't want him to be my president.

His policies are scary. And what's worse, what will be worse, will be the rabid fanaticism of the people with which he surrounds himself. He's already holding a loaded gun by virtue of a Democratically controlled Congress with radicals Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid in charge. That, within itself, is enough of a worry that we may, one day, be marching on Washington D.C. with pitchforks and burning torches.

And you have super-loons in Washington like liar-du-jour Barney Frank who wants to cut military spending during war time, raise taxes and expand spending by the federal government. Oh, and he won some award for being so instrumental in providing affordable housing for low-income people. No really, I'm not making this shit up. This, while the media continues to ignore Democrat complicity in the belly-upidness of the housing market.

"Hey, is that a 1 trillion ton gorilla over there?"

"Pssst, you can't say gorilla anymore!"

"Why not?"

*whispering* "Well, you know. . .because they're black."

Trust me, it gets worse.

Senator Edward Kennedy is reportedly negotiating landmark health care legislation from his sick bed as he suffers from brain cancer. Godspeed and all that to Senator Kennedy, but should we really be letting a brain damaged individual organize what will be the largest governmental social policy failure since Welfare?

It is this kind of liberalism that will be the first strains and tears in the fabric of our great America.

There are generations of people, who by the misguided policies of our government, are destined for nothing. Why strive and become educated and make a success of yourself, when it's far easier to sit on your duff and let the working masses pay for your insolence? I read in a book many years ago that the reason sex feels so go is so that we would actually DO it.

We're lazy by nature. Inherently so.

To facilitate it by handouts is slow societal suicide. Care for some Kool-Aid?

Yeah, I'd break bread with Barack Obama, but I'll be damned if I'm going to let him make off with the whole loaf.

The Strategy. . .

There have been many attempts to tie Barack Obama with various and asundry characters during his campaign for the presidency, Bill Ayers, Reverend Wright, Tony Rezko, et. al., but all of those slimeballs will pale in comparison to Obama's association with ACORN as America continues to turn a blind eye to the truth.

What is ACORN you might ask?

According to their website:

ACORN is a non-profit, non-partisan social justice organization with national headquarters in New York, New Orleans and Washington, D.C. To maintain independence, ACORN does not accept government funding and is not tax exempt.

Non-partisan my foot. One look at their "Allied Organizations" page and it's obvious that ACORN leans hard-left. Nevertheless, they attempt to put on a non-partisan face. And in Nevada, they've done proudly so by allegedly employing convicts, some of whom are in jail for identity theft, to canvass for new voters. Great job ACORN!

I think they should rename ACORN as "A Convict Or Nothing" organization because for many years now, there has been a seriously concerning and accelerating trend of voting irregularities that point in the direction of ACORN.

And now, ACORN's name keeps popping up during discussions and analyses of the mortgage bailout/financial crisis the world is experiencing. Probably just a coincidence, don't you think? According to some, it'd be racist to assume otherwise, but I've always said, doo doo never falls far from the ass. Actually I never say that, I just made it up.

I for one see a clear connection between the three. Obama, ACORN, and our now Democratically controlled Congress. Shysters, all of them. And where are the investigations? Haven't heard a whole lot about that, have we?

The Fire Is Lit. . .

Well, Sarah Palin came out swinging and to use an old baseball analogy, she scratched her nuts, adjusted her cup, spit a big slug of tobacco juice and proceeded to knock the hell out of Barack Obama and the liberal, pinko-commie media.

And I'll be damned if those sunsabitches didn't have it coming.

I don't have much time to blog about it this morning. Maybe later. I'll only say that she did well, really well, has solidified the GOP base and has set off on a great journey for her, us and our country.

Maybe some of the more sarcastic and pointed jibes could have been left out of the speech, but those bastards on the left deserved and earned every bit of it after trying to rip apart her innocent family for a week. It was her turn for a little blood and the left this morning is crying in the corner like a spoiled child.

Good Job Congress. . .

I guess no one is packing a set of brass nads in the Senate these days.

I just read some analysis over at Michelle Malkin/HotAir courtesy of Allahpundit, who closely analyzed the video of the actual vote this morning.

Seems that Senator Brownback voted Yes for cloture this morning, thinking it was going to pass, but in the waning moments of the vote realizing the bill had failed, changed his vote to NO.

He must be soliciting advice from John Kerry who is the ultimate "voted for it, before I voted against it" Senator.

I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to the great people of this nation whose common voice was heard by our government, for once.

And if you ever hear another politician say, "we know it's not a great bill, but it's the best we can do", take two steps back and drop-kick that sumbitch in the balls. . .cause if they have balls, they sure ain't of the brass variety.
