Only Available In Black. . .

Yesterday, I was traveling into downtown Jackson, when a couple of t-shirts at a local screen printing operation caught my eye.

At first, I didn't think much of it, this shop in known locally for providing quality fraternity, sorority and politically-oriented t-shirts to students of the historically black Jackson State University.

Nothing I saw bothered me until I saw the following shirt.

Haven't I seen this image somewhere before? Seems that I have and I wonder who is the rightful owner of the image. Is this an officially sanctioned and licensed US Weekly campaign t-shirt or is the copyright of the photo owned by the Obama campaign? Something tells me the answer is no.

Photographic copyright and commercial usage
is a pretty straightforward law and I have my suspicions about the legality of reprinting this image for commercial gain, especially since the "US Weekly" title has been removed, not to mention the photo of Angelina Jolie and the subheadline of intimating a discussion of sex while pregnant. Enquiring minds want to. . .

. . .I don't know. Maybe it's nothing. Anyway, considering the fact that saying ANYTHING anti-Obama would deem me as a racist, maybe I should just shut the hell up and go on about my business of pre-filling out checks to the federal government to help Obama pay for 1 trillion dollars in extra spending for the deserving, subjugated milksops of his cult of personality.

Amen Brother!

Someone with some level-headed brain power skewers our corrupt media. It's about time sensible voices like this are heard again! And without the Fairness Doctrine to boot!

We are nearing a new paradigm in our collective 200+ year-old idea of democracy. As we close in on our presidential election, the likelihood of a slow creep towards socialism seems like an ever-burgeoning reality and with the Democrats teetering on a supermajority in Congress, socialism is almost an after-thought.

I suspect that Obama will try to push through a whole new raft of social engineering programs geared towards helping the helpless or as I like to call them, those who don't want to be and can't be helped. Government doles of the common wealth will never and have never leveled the playing field or equalized class and status. In fact, as an article from the American Thinker states, the needs of the state always rises above the needs of the people in a socialist government:

It took Marx and Engels to carry socialism to the next level, in which they envisioned the complete overthrow of all governments, with the workers of the world uniting so that all contributed to a single socialist government, which in turn would give back to them on an as needed basis. Assuming that you're not big on individualism and exceptionalism, this might be an attractive doctrine as a way to destroy want and exploitation, except for one thing: It does not take into account the fact that the state has no conscience.

Once you vest all power in the state, history demonstrates that the state, although technically composed of individuals, in fact takes on a life of its own, with the operating bureaucracy driving it to ever greater extremes of control. Additionally, history demonstrates that, if the wrong person becomes all-powerful in the state, the absence of individualism means that the state becomes a juggernaut, completely in thrall to a psychopath's ideas.
I simply cannot fathom why people in America desire such a radical shift in our social policies. Have fifty years of LBJ's Great Society bred a generation or two of people who cannot or will not care for themselves, permanent hand-holder-outers? Do we really need our government telling us what to do, or can or can't do on a daily basis? Should we be adding bureaucracy to the already over-bloated United States government?

They prove, on a daily basis I might add, the ineptitude of their spending and management of programs that are broken and have been for many years. Think Social Security. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac. Medicare. Just to name a few.

Do we really need to feed the beast even further with 1 trillion dollars in new spending? Promises from Obama to cut spending are about as likely as Uzbekistan sending a woman to the moon, but at least McCain has a history of trying to control spending.

Obama has a history of what? Voting present? Running for president? Being a snob and going to a racist church?

The answer to those, my dear friends, is yes. A very profound yes.

Concerned Citizen. . .

My friend Billy Jo Jerry Bobby would like to issue a statement about voter fraud:

Howdy!

I been readin' this here internet thang and it's got a bunch uh good stuff and all, like pitures of nekkid wimmen' and every now and then a good piture of a lion down in Louisiana. Damn crazy coonasses, them folks! Geaux Tigers!

Anyways, I was readin' this here article about how them folks that call themselves ACORN, which kinda confuses me cause acorns is what squirrels, deer and turkeys eat, but these people call themselves ACORN and, I don't know, it's just weird to me, so them folks, they done gone up in Indiana and somehow r'nother got more people on to vote than there are people in the county round up about Indianapolis where that Manning boy plays ball.

Now, I ain't the smartest sumbitch that ever hoed a row, but my momma learned me them numbers real good. And as best I figure, even though it's some big numbers and all, in a county which has got 644, 197 eleg, uh, eliga. . .you know, folks who can rightly vote, and then on them papers in the county office say they got 677,401 people on them rolls, there's somethin' spitfire wrong with that!

So, I been readin' about them ACORN people and how they been signin' up people who ain't livin' and ain't got no house trailer to live in like me, and signin' up the Dallas Cowboys and usin' names like Mickey Mouse and all. Hell, a dang mouse can't vote!

I mean, what's wrong your showin' somethin' that's got yer dang name on it when you go to vote! My paw always told me, "Son, if a man needs anything in life, it's a piece of paper with his name on it." And I be doggone if'in he ain't right! I only get one vote, Terrell Owens only gets one vote, so why should them other'ins get an extra vote? Just don't seem right, no matter how I figure it.

Well, I guess I better get back to cleaning my gun and readin' my Bible. It's all I got to cling to and I fear it'll be taken away soon.

Thanks y'all and God Bless.
