Yo Money At Werk. . .

Just click through and try to have a nice day.  A nice day after you pull your fingernails out with pliers in frustration. . .

My direct bosses told me that I should NOT be doing 35-40 because it was making them and other people look bad. So instead of walking at a snails pace, I just did my 35-40/hour and doubled my time when I submitted my hours. Again, sorry for the tax dollar grab, but I was told not to be so darned efficient or else I’d be cut!

Charles Rangel. . .

. . .now there's a name that'll raise my hackles at any given moment and for good reason. I'll try to bite my tongue and abstain from the typical vulgar response to the mere mention of his name.

Charles Rangel is the epitome, the poster-child, the distilled, 110-proof essence of all that is wrong in Washington, D.C. Corrupt, untruthful, shameless, wasteful, accusatory, hypocritical, hyperbolic, partisan, phony, and flatly, a liar.

Where is the moral outrage at Rangel's misuse of power and privilege? Not to mention, taxpayer monies?

What? Oh, he's a Democrat. I guess that makes it ok then. Nothing to see here, move along.

Hope And Change. . .

Someone really brilliant once said, "Reality is the best comedy."

I think it was me, but I don't toot my own horn very often. So, I'll give credit to, uh.....Shakespeare. Or Faulkner. Yeah, Faulkner. Vardaman's mother was a fish, you know.

Anyways. . .Obama is at it again. The most ethical Congress and the most transparent presidency ever!

Hey, how about another tax cheat for your cabinet?

Cha-ching! Sold! To the lowest bidder!

Count Me In. . .

A five minute, painless operation.

God Bless Mississippi!

Our polling place was smooth, quietly efficient and the voting, by touch screen, effortless. The volunteers were helpful, polite and I even saw a young fellow offer his ID to vote (no voter ID in Mississippi), which was declined with a smile. First time voter, undoubtedly.

Anyway, I've cast my vote and in the process negated someone else's. I guess that's how it works.

No Black Panthers here. It's kinda like, uh, normal. The rest of the world should come here to see how it's done.

However, on the way back to the office, I spotted an irregularity in the force.

Two white girls standing at a very busy West Jackson intersection holding Obama signs. Yeah, so what, right? Everyone has a right to protest, support or whatever. No problem.

The problem is, of all places in Jackson to stand around supporting your candidate, why here? In the ghetto? Whose conscience are you trying to cleanse?

The store behind them, I no longer patronize after 5:00 p.m. for the vagrants, beggars and ne'er-do-wells that hammer you for money, a ride or anything free. That store was robbed within the last 6 months.

Sure, it's broad daylight, no worries, right??

WRONG!

Let me enlighten you as to what happens over here during broad daylight.

Bank robber captured behind our office hiding in the bushes several years ago after a long foot chase.

On Martin Luther King's birthday, a brick hurled through the window of a rental car that belonged to one of our longtime friends and "Yankee" equipment salesmen. Scared the poor bastard to death.

A white student at the predominantly black Jackson State University around the corner was shot several days ago. Randomly?

Last year, a man entered our laboratory through the back door during business hours when no men were there, only the secretaries. He made a lap through the office chatting on his cell phone, quashing inquiries of his uninvited presence by our secretaries, snatched up the money from our goody box and was out the back door before anything could be done. We now have magnetic locks.

A few months ago I saw cops chasing four thugs in a stolen car who managed to destroy several road signs on the Jackson State Parkway during the chase.

Countless assaults, shootings, bank robberies, drug related incidents.

One evening, I even thought I was going to have to pull my weapon on what turned out to be an undercover police officer after the bastard creeped by in his low-ride, blacked-out, hoopty mobile with the tinted window cracked just so, giving me the evil eye as he passed. Thankfully I didn't, and he turned around in the parking lot down the street while I closed and locked our gate.

He sped away in the other direction towards the chicken joint, wheeled up in the parking lot, bailed out, opened the trunk, pulled out a sawed-off shotgun as mass mayhem ensued when several undercover cops chased a suspect down the street.

I go to work locked and loaded. I go home locked and loaded. Because I have to.

Yeah, this is no place for white girls.

But, they're robots. Unaware and oblivious. Just like Obama wants them to be.

So, you can't blame them. It's the culture of blame and guilt, the cult of personality that has convinced them of a pie-in-the-sky solution for the social ills of this country.

Oh look, one of them even smokes. I guess she expects that socialized medicine will take care of her throughout her lifetime, cheaper than insurance, right? You'll still be paying for it baby, one tax dollar at a time.

I wish for a moment that I could be the mind's eye of these two women. What do they see as they gaze north into the haze of ghetto West Jackson? Is it promise? Is it revolution? Is it change? Absolution?

Absolution for the sins of people long gone? Removal of the cold, wet, and heavy pelt of guilt that has been forced upon white America for generations?

It's no longer our fault.

We don't hold the key to the future of black America. The only keymasters are themselves.

Only THEY can raise themselves up, can push themselves to higher limits, can motivate one another through positive reinforcement and shake off the years of a violent and unproductive culture within their society. Here is their chance, in the form of Obama.

Your idol, your messiah, your end all-be all for communal woes.

It's no longer our fault, because blacks in America have been sold a piss-poor bill of goods ever since the civil rights era by their own people. And here comes Barack, selling it again. But, will they buy it? The new and improved civil rights era? Sadly, they probably will.

And these poor girls have bought it too. Oblivious to the cold fact that whether Barack Obama is elected or not, blacks in America will never advance as a society until they do it for themselves. And we, the new slaves in America, will never be absolved nor freed.

Our guilt will remain. Even after Barack Obama has long been forgotten.

Our guilt will remain, because it is a lucrative business helmed by race hustlers like Jackson, Sharpton, Farrakhan, Shabazz and now, the slightly muted and subdued Obama version of hustle.

Welcome to Hope and Change 2008.

The new hustle. The new handout. The reparation.

Repackaged, refined, new and improved socialism with a big, all seeing eye on the prize, and that prize, is us.

How Do You Spell. . .

FLAMING COMMIE DOUCHEBAG?

B-A-R-N-E-Y-F-R-A-N-K.

Watch and learn. This is our future under the control of the new socialists.

Remember:

"Once you vest all power in the state, history demonstrates that the state, although technically composed of individuals, in fact takes on a life of its own, with the operating bureaucracy driving it to ever greater extremes of control."
Makes you kinda feel all warm and fuzzy inside, doesn't it?

No, It's OK. Keep The Change. . .

Well, if the cat isn't out of the bag now, it never will be.

Obama's overblown ego and inability to speak coherently in an effort to hide his socialist agenda without a teleprompter was drawn out in spades yesterday while speaking with an average Joe Schmo about Obama's plan to tax businesses that gross more than $250,00 per year.

As Obama's poll numbers rise and McCain's fall or struggle to maintain par, I cringe at the potential frigid winds of an Obama presidency. It's not about his color folks, it's about his policy.

My family has been in business for nearly 40 years. 40 years of ups and downs. And to hear a presidential candidate admit that he will basically take from us and give to them is beyond acceptance. I work hard. My family works hard, harder than they/we/I have to for a living. This business we've put our lives into now for three generations has worked too damn hard for the government to come along and take away MORE of our hard earned money to give to the sullen, spastic mass that is the welfare state of our nation. THEY DON'T DESERVE OUR MONEY ANY LONGER. LBJ's "Great Society" has failed. Why flush more money down the gullet of this violent and insatiable beast?

You want money? Work for it. Otherwise, starve. I'm sorry that you haven't taken advantage of the many opportunities that await you in our free society. The greatest, most open and life-loving society ever formed. You missed your bus, so don't come asking me for a ride.

When you pull that lever in November, or poke your "chad", or tap the touch screen at your local polling station, think of the money in your pocket and the safety and security it buys for you and your family. What if someone walked up behind you and took half, without a thanks, no thanks or kiss my grits? How would you feel about that?

Think about it while you cast your ballot. It's your decision, but we'll all have to live with the outcome.

Who is We?

I just read an editorial from the Philadelphia Inquirer written by Fatimah Ali in which she threatens that all-out race war will ensue if we don't elect Obama. And somehow tries to support this argument by saying John McCain is out of touch because he's not aware of how many homes HIS WIFE owns and that Barack Obama will save us all by "reducing taxes to 95% of American workers."

Hmmmm. What's that smell? Most people call it BULLSHIT.

Obama has repeatedly called for raising different and various forms of taxation.

Is he a liar or is "reducing taxes for 95% of American workers" the new parlance for raising taxes?

Consider me confused.

I'm glad I have a good memory, which is exactly what he and the Democrats hope the rest of America does not have. Write some of these promises down and after the election, don't be surprised at the reality.

And as far as the race war commentary is concerned, I don't think it's constructive dialogue to seed those kinds of ideas in your constituency Ms. Ali. The sheeple of America are a simple minded bunch and it wouldn't take too much to turn a seemingly innocuous statement into the kindling needed for the fires of chaos.

And if my memory serves me correctly, didn't Barack Obama make some statement about a "quiet riot" sometime ago?

Yes. He. Did.

Democratic talking points or the politics of Hope and Change?

Drink your Kool-Aid people.

It's Official. . .Obama Is A Deranged Idiot. . .

Barracks Alabaster has all the answers and they are so hopey and changey.

Today, the guy floated a new hope. His new hope indicated that he will commit governmental robbery of free-market corporations doing business in a democratic and free county in an effort to corral spiraling energy prices.

Let's think about this for a sec my Merry Men.

If he takes windfall profit taxes from oil companies and distributes said taxes to poor struggling people so that they can "pay for their skyrocketing energy costs", what is going to stop them from easing down to the nearest Best Buy and buying a giant plasma tv or "qwunty-fo' inch rims fo' dey Impala?" And does this really SOLVE the energy problem America is having?

Couldn't this potentially have a negative effect on the price of energy by increasing demand, therefore increasing price because our sadistic "friends" in OPEC refuse to raise output? We just had the first reduction in oil usage in some 25-odd years and what's so wrong with that?

And then there's that other mania about reducing carbon output. Wouldn't distributing windfall taxes to the masses increase consumption and therefore increase the output of those dastardly gases Al Bore is so concerned with? Just sayin.

Then Barracks jumped all over McCain about wanting to extend President Bush's tax cuts for corporations including oil companies. How is taxing the oil companies going to reduce the price of a barrel of oil? Hhmmmm?

Why not allow these companies to use THEIR profits to build infrastructure here in the USA for the exploration, recovery and refining of oil? Now THAT is a solution and it kinda avoids that whole stealing thing by the government.

And what if, in the meantime, we give tax INCENTIVES to the struggling US automakers and outside technology companies to produce hybrid, electric, solar and fuel cell technologies for our transportation systems in an effort to reduce our dependence on foreign oil and IN THE PROCESS reducing our contribution to the destruction of polar bear icicles? Is that a good idea? Kinda leaves out that whole stealing thing again.

Speaking of robbery, it's right here in our face courtesy of OPEC which is run by a gang of hypocritical and thuggish criminals. Every day, hundreds of millions of dollars go right into the hands of this cartel, many if not most of which could give two shits about the future of the United States. Saudi Arabia and Hugo Chavez giving you the warm fuzzies all over? If so, then you are ill in the gray matter.

Barracks Alabaster? Has no gray matter, yet his hope will change it all. And with his hand firmly on the handle of the collective toilet as President, we'll all be grabbing for the deodorant puck on the way down.
