Well, well, well. Who do we have here? Groveling like a sissy baby to those big, bad, evil oil company capitalists?

Those free market principles are a mother, aren't they Hugo? Somebody better call the waaaaaaambulance. And I'm sure somewhere in here is a lesson about the failures of Socialism. Obama? Obama?

There Will Be Blood. . .

Since the collapse of the oil markets and the end of the political circus which is our presidential election, it has been quiet as a cricket fart in media and political circles concerning our need to develop our own natural resources, mainly oil.

With the price of oil nearing a decade old low price, the incentive to "drill here, drill now" has subsided. We're all fat and happy again and breathing huge sighs of relief everytime we fill our vehicles and it costs less than a hunge. Back to sleep at the wheel folks.

Yesterday's news that Israel has invaded the Gaza Strip, and rightfully so, brings the sobering news out of Iran of just how dependent we are on imported oil. I am sick of having to rely on the declared enemies of the United States for our energy needs and hearing some low-budget "commander" shoot his mouth off about trying to choke us off economically.

"Among the tactics the world of Islam can use to help the innocent Palestinian people, Bagherzadeh called oil one of the powerful elements of pressure on the Zionists' European and American supporters in the unequal war," IRNA said.

Nice. The world of Islam can choke on a goat dick for all I care. Especially as the world of Islam and particularly, the Muslims of Palestine continue to indoctrinate women and children with violence against all people, places and things that are not Islamic.

And while I'm at it, after we begin our own oil exploration, why don't we cut off the hundreds of billions of dollars in foreign aid that we send to puppet-states, dictatorial regimes and repressive kingdoms run by spoiled, hypocritical kings and princes in the Middle East. These people hate us, our way of life, and only tolerate us for our checkbook.

You can dream all the dreamy-dreams you want about electric cars, solar-powered lawn darts and clean coal-powered, organic Ziploc bags, but for now it's oil. And we need it, so let's drill for our own while the market works out the latest giz-whammy, doo-hickey or thing-a-ma-jig to save us from oil.

Georgia On My Mind. . .

As most of you know, Russia has invaded Georgia in response to Georgia's effort to reign in the breakaway province of South Ossetia. Russia's heavy-handed reaction has caused many civilian casualties by indiscriminate bombing and even though Russia claims to have no interest other than to remove Georgian troops from South Ossetia, it is clear that the communist regime has other ideas.

The history between Georgia and Russia is a long, complex and bloody struggle of the weak versus the mighty with Russia at times playing savior and at others, conqueror. The recent developments bring to light the misunderstandings that the outside world has of far eastern European politics and the Russian bear and brightens the dull and often misunderstood, misconstrued strategic policies of the United States.

I've mulled this extremely sad and unfortunate situation over since the outbreak of the fighting and unfortunately I have more questions than answers.

Obviously, our main strategic goal in the region is the steady supply of central Asian energy supplies. British Petroleum has helped construct a pipeline that runs from Azerbaijan through Georgia and into Turkey, completely bypassing Russia. According to reports, the Russians went after the pipeline almost immediately, some reports indicating that some 50 missles or bombs were used with no ill effect to the pipeline. Interestingly, a pipeline 30% owned by British Petroleum, who is embroiled in some difficult negotiations for another large oil conglomerate in Russia. I suppose it's possible that the Russians, if they fired on the pipeline at all, intentionally missed as a firm and dire message of dominance to BP.

I still can't grasp a rational and logical reason that Georgia's leadership would agitate Russia by invading South Ossetia to retake the breakaway province. I assume that someone within the inner circle of Mikhail Saakashvili's administration had to know that the Russian reaction would be swift and deadly. What exactly did they think they would gain?

Incredibly outnumbered, the Georgian military is simply no match to the well-trained (arguable) and well-armed military of Russia. Russia fields about 34 times the personnel and is supplied with an infinitely superior number of tanks, planes, missiles, troop transports, etc. It's simply suicide.

Condoleeza Rice was recently in Georgia meeting with Saakashvili and maybe something was said during their meeting that led him to believe that we would support fully any attempt by him to retake South Ossetia. If not, then this will go down in history as one of the biggest political and military blunders in history.

What this tragic situation does emphasize is that Russia in no friend of the world. Vladimir Putin is nothing more than a low-rent KGB thug with an eye on the prize of world dominance through energy, a goal Russia has never been able to achieve on her own. First, is was the jailing oil executives and bundling the wealth and power of conglomerates like YUKOS into the plus-50% state owned GAZPROM and now it's the all out pillaging of a weaker country, all for sake of oil. Russia wants it and doesn't want us to have it.

And where is the left-wing, anti-war, anti-war-for-oil outrage against Russia's actions? This is a REAL war for oil. So, where is it folks? Outrage? Anyone?

We, the United States, are in no position to help the Georgians militarily and frankly, George Bush chastising Putin for invading a "sovereign nation" is a half-step short of reeking hipocrisy. And the only thing we can hope for is that, in the end, Russia does not stay and Georgia maintains her independence and democracy, but this seems unlikely. The UN will accomplish nothing and neither will NATO.

In the meantime, Georgia burns and sadly, the only real losers in this event will be the people of Georgia.

Eureka!

So, the left-wing Demodorks in Congress have been busy pillorying the oil companies because of the record profits received due to record high oil prices, of which, "big oil" has no control of in a free market system.

Yet, these same Demodorks refuse to do anything to unhinder the production of domestic oil supplies in the United States.

Think about that for a second. Or longer for your slower types. It's ok, I'll wait.

Anybody getting it?

Yes, in fact, our dumb Democrat-led Congress, who have done nothing but bitch and moan and groan trying to demonize the blameless "big oil" conglomerates, are too stupid to admit or realize that a larger supply might reduce these obscene record profits by those evil bastards, BIG OIL!

Fucking retards.

America, it's time to take back Washington. Time to march in the streets. Get off our lazy assess, dust off the Frito crumbs and let these FOOLS hear from us the old-fashioned way. What do you think?

And by the way, is it just me or is it time to put down the tire gauges and get back to a real debate about the REAL issues of America? We've got a few other problems besides flat tires.

Tired of Queen Bee Pelosi and her hive of dim-witted, group-thinking dullards who control Congress?

Then sign this petition in hopes of forcing her to recall everyone for a serious debate on our nation's energy policy.

Probably won't work, but hey, at least you'll be on the right side of the argument. Unlike her.

Oh Really?

What do we need to do? What do we need to do?

Nancy Pelosi is a real piece of work. This "lady" has got the gall to get on television and declare that President Bush is a "total failure."

Nancy, have you checked the polls lately? Can you even read whole numbers? The last time I checked, an 18% approval rating (you and Congress) is lower than a 28% approval rating (Bush). Did you get that?

18 is LESS than 28.

Are you mad because of this? Watch that temper!

Listen quite closely and you'll understand why we are in the mess we are.

Stupid Girl.

It's Official. . .Obama Is A Deranged Idiot. . .

Barracks Alabaster has all the answers and they are so hopey and changey.

Today, the guy floated a new hope. His new hope indicated that he will commit governmental robbery of free-market corporations doing business in a democratic and free county in an effort to corral spiraling energy prices.

Let's think about this for a sec my Merry Men.

If he takes windfall profit taxes from oil companies and distributes said taxes to poor struggling people so that they can "pay for their skyrocketing energy costs", what is going to stop them from easing down to the nearest Best Buy and buying a giant plasma tv or "qwunty-fo' inch rims fo' dey Impala?" And does this really SOLVE the energy problem America is having?

Couldn't this potentially have a negative effect on the price of energy by increasing demand, therefore increasing price because our sadistic "friends" in OPEC refuse to raise output? We just had the first reduction in oil usage in some 25-odd years and what's so wrong with that?

And then there's that other mania about reducing carbon output. Wouldn't distributing windfall taxes to the masses increase consumption and therefore increase the output of those dastardly gases Al Bore is so concerned with? Just sayin.

Then Barracks jumped all over McCain about wanting to extend President Bush's tax cuts for corporations including oil companies. How is taxing the oil companies going to reduce the price of a barrel of oil? Hhmmmm?

Why not allow these companies to use THEIR profits to build infrastructure here in the USA for the exploration, recovery and refining of oil? Now THAT is a solution and it kinda avoids that whole stealing thing by the government.

And what if, in the meantime, we give tax INCENTIVES to the struggling US automakers and outside technology companies to produce hybrid, electric, solar and fuel cell technologies for our transportation systems in an effort to reduce our dependence on foreign oil and IN THE PROCESS reducing our contribution to the destruction of polar bear icicles? Is that a good idea? Kinda leaves out that whole stealing thing again.

Speaking of robbery, it's right here in our face courtesy of OPEC which is run by a gang of hypocritical and thuggish criminals. Every day, hundreds of millions of dollars go right into the hands of this cartel, many if not most of which could give two shits about the future of the United States. Saudi Arabia and Hugo Chavez giving you the warm fuzzies all over? If so, then you are ill in the gray matter.

Barracks Alabaster? Has no gray matter, yet his hope will change it all. And with his hand firmly on the handle of the collective toilet as President, we'll all be grabbing for the deodorant puck on the way down.

Makes Cents To Me. . .

Recently, a group calling themselves American Solutions began collecting signatures for a petition that will ask Congress to act on legislation making it easier to drill for our own oil. They currently have over 400,000 signatures.

Yesterday, JammieWearing Fool posted a video produced by American Solutions that outlines their petition.

As gas prices continue to increase, Congress continues to blame others while ignoring practical steps to stop the pain Americans are feeling at the pump. To lower gasoline prices and reduce our dependence on foreign oil, we need real solutions to our energy challenges.

Indeed.

If you are sick and tired of your petro dollars going into the deep pockets of Americas enemies, I suggest you sign up too! The time is now.

. . .to go drill for our own oil than this crap??

Via Reuters: Chavez says empire of dollar is crashing

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said on Monday the "empire of the dollar is crashing", a day after his country and anti-U.S. ally Iran advocated action over the weakening U.S. currency during an OPEC summit in Riyadh.

Chavez, who on Saturday said oil prices could double to $200 per (97 pounds) barrel if the United States attacks Iran over its disputed atomic ambitions, spoke to reporters after talks with his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Tehran.

The two leaders agreed to set up a joint Iranian-Venezuelan bank and also signed deals to boost cooperation in the oil, petrochemical and industry sectors, Iranian media reported without giving details about the accords.

Ahmadinejad -- whose country is under banking and other international sanctions over its nuclear programme -- on Sunday called the U.S. dollar a "worthless piece of paper" and Chavez took a similar line on Monday.

These two are like the Laurel and Hardy of evil, but there ain't nothing funny about what they are saying.

It's time to drill ANWAR now because Texas tea just doesn't bubble up from an errant shot at a rabbit.
